Let us take care of this year's Christmas buffet and invite you to an evening filled with scents, flavors, and atmosphere. At Hotel Hehrne, we set up a lavish Christmas buffet in Restaurant Älven – filled with classic favorites, homemade specialties, and carefully selected ingredients.
The evening begins with mulled wine mingling, setting the right mood from the start. After that, a Christmas buffet awaits where tradition meets thoughtfulness, perfect for both smaller and larger groups. Some evenings during the late seating, we also offer entertainment with N'joy Hits. These dates are marked below.

After our last Advent brunch was a warm and appreciated success – atmospheric and filled with guests who stayed for a long time – we are happy to announce that brunch is back, this time during the Lucia weekend.
At Restaurant Älven, we serve a generous Advent brunch that captures the feeling of winter light, Christmas peace, and community. Here you will find freshly baked goods, hot dishes, salads, cold cuts, sweet treats, and little Advent surprises—all in an environment that exudes calm and warmth.
The view of the river and the park completes the experience.
This is the brunch for those who want to create a cozy moment with the family, gather friends for a Christmas break, or treat themselves to a peaceful moment in the middle of December.

The last brunch was a warm and appreciated success — fully booked, atmospheric, and filled with guests who wanted to stay longer. Thanks to all the positive feedback, we are continuing, and this time with an extra dose of Advent magic.
On Sunday, November 30th, we celebrate the first Advent with a brunch that captures the feeling of winter light, Christmas peace, and good times together.
In Restaurant Älven, we set up a generous brunch with freshly baked goods, hot dishes, salads, cold cuts, sweet endings, and small Advent surprises. Here, familiar flavors meet the calming view of the river and the park — an environment where it is easy to unwind.

Tribute to Booker T. & The M.G.’s
A well-known jazz band from the USA is visiting Hotel Hehrne. A unique opportunity to experience an international jazz name in an intimate and warm environment.
Booker T. & the M.G.'s were one of the most influential bands in the USA during the 60s and 70s. As the house band at the legendary STAX studio in Memphis, they set the sound for an entire era and accompanied greats such as Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett, Sam & Dave, and Albert King. At the same time, they created timeless instrumental classics such as Green Onions, Time Is Tight, Soul Limbo, Hip-Hug Her and Hang ’Em High.
This evening, their music is celebrated by four highly accomplished Swedish musicians: Bo Hansson (hammond organ), Lars Mellqvist (bass), Henrik Pilquist (guitar), and Roger Mörck (drums).
With the hammond organ at its center, the quartet offers a swinging and respectful interpretation of Booker T. & the M.G.’s most iconic songs – an instrumental journey to the golden age of soul and funk. Between the songs, there will also be opportunities for stories about the band's history, members, and music.

JAZZ ON THE TERRACE - Homage to The Beatles – Margareta Evmark Quartet
Margareta Evmark Quartet
A tribute night to The Beatles in a jazzy style. Margareta Evmark Quartet interprets the immortal songs in a new, emotional way.
After a celebrated concert at Blå Scenen in January, Margareta Evmark Quartet is back – this time in the atmospheric setting at Restad Gård. The requested return not only offers a repeat of the winter's success, but also new interpretations of the Beatles' song treasure.
The quartet consists of Margareta Evmark (vocals/bass), Dan Evmark (piano/keyboard), Peter Sjögren (tenor saxophone and EWI – electronic wind instrument) and Per Boqvist (drums). Together they offer an evening where Beatles music meets jazz – with both swinging uptempo songs and emotional ballads.
The audience can look forward to interpretations of, among others, Got to Get You Into My Life, Daytripper, The Fool on the Hill and Blackbird. With the quartet's expressive and personal arrangements, this will be a musical experience filled with both nostalgia and curiosity.

Hotel Hehrne invites you to a wonderful sing-along evening together with N'Joy Hits filled with music, community, and joy. The evening is spiced up with fun competitions, and we also have visits from some local guest artists who offer that extra something.
JAZZ ON THE TERRACE - The Laang way
The Laang Way
An evening with local favorites from Trestad
The first Jazz at Terrazz evening of the year is hosted by The Laang Way – a band with strong connections to the Trestad area. The group consists of Per Laang (saxophone), Karolina Laang (vocals), Per Orvang (guitar) and Simon Jonsson (piano/keyboard).
The band mixes their own compositions with personal interpretations of other people's music. It will be a warm and atmospheric evening in the restaurant with expressive interaction and musical breadth.
Per Laang, with roots in Vargön, has played with many of Sweden's elite artists. Karolina Laang freelances in both music and performing arts, in Sweden and internationally. After her debut album in 2023, she is now working on new music – something we might get to hear live during the evening.
Guitarist Per Orvang from Trollhättan works as a freelance musician and arranger, and Simon Jonsson is active in several groups and especially appreciated for his playing on the Hammond organ.
